El turismo rural es una actividad que se desarrolla en el ámbito rural y que resulta de interés para los habitantes de las ciudades por sus características exóticas, tradicionales, románticas, diferentes del estilo usual de vida, etc.
En las estancias asociadas a la APATUR (Asociación Paraguaya de Turismo Rural), el visitante es recibido como un miembro más de la familia, alojándose en viviendas, cabañas o en áreas de camping, según su predilección. Los servicios son prestados por los habitantes del mundo rural con la participación de la familia del productor agropecuario.
Los huéspedes disfrutan de uno o mas días en contacto con la naturaleza, admirando la diversidad biológica que ofrece cada región del país, participan de todas las actividades que se desarrollan en el establecimiento, y toman contacto con nuestras costumbres y tradiciones.
Además disfrutan de la gastronomía típica, como el asado a la estaca, los postres, dulces y quesos artesanales, las frutas tropicales de la época, etc. Se debe tener en cuenta que la mayor parte de los alimentos son producidos en el establecimiento: como la carne, las verduras, las frutas y los productos lácteos.
Las diversas actividades que ofrecen los establecimientos de APATUR son:
Deportivas: Pesca, natación, paseos en ríos, arroyos, cabalgatas, paseos en sulky, volleyball, football, tenis,, trekking y otros.
Rurales: Observación de tareas de campo – ordeñe de vacas o fúfalos, rodeos, la yerra, vacunación, esquila de ovejas y otros según la época del año. Visitas a áreas agrícolas.
Científicas: Paseos guiados por senderos en reservas privadas de bosques, observación de aves, fauna y flora según la región.
Culturales: Paseos a lugares históricos y visitas a asentamientos indígenas.
La mayoría de los establecimientos proveen de transporte y guías con traducción al inglés, alemán y francés.
Paraguayan Association of Rural Tourism
Rural tourism takes place in the farming world; far away from the traffic and noise of big cities. It attracts the interest of those who live in great urben areas, as rural tourism combines traditional living mixed with the exotic and romantic characteristics, which differ from the usual lifestyle of metropolitan areas.
At ranches belonging to The Association, visitors are welcomed as family members. They may stay in the family quarters, in bungalows or in a camping area, whatever their choice is. Services are provided by residents of the rural community with the cooperations of the rancher ' s family members.
During their stay guests enjoy one or more days in full contact with nature and admire the biological diversity of the different regions. They participate of the acvtivities that each particular ranch carries out. At the same time they become a part of a new way of life while enjoying old traditions. The gastronomy is of country style, like steer bar-b-Q, home-made desserts, jams, jelly, fresch cheese and tropical fruits right from the trees, etc.
Most of the food is produced at the ranch, (meat, dairy products, vegetables and fruits), A variety of activities are offered, and they are as follows:
Sports Activities – fishing, swimming in pool or waterstreams, boat river-rides, horseback riding, carriage rides, ox-driven cart-rides, volleyball, football, tennis, trekking and others.
Rural Activities – (according to the time of the year) cow or buffalo milking, rodeos, branding of calves, sanitation tasks, sheep shearing and visit to cultivated pastures and agricultural areas.
Scientific – guided visits to private rainforetsts, birdwatching, fauna and flora.
Cultural-visit to historical places and visits to Indian reservations.
Upon request most of the ranches provide transportation and English / German / French speaking guides.
Paraguayischer Verein fur Landestourismus
Der landestourismus wird als tätigkeit innerhalb des landesgebietes entwickelt, was interesse fur die stadteinwohner erregt, aufgrund seiner exotischen, traditionellen und romantischen besonderheiten, die u.a. unterschiedlich als von der normalen lebensweise seien.
An den vertienten farmen des APATUR ( Paraguayischer verein f ü r Landestourismus) wird der Besucher als ein familienmitglied empfangen und in wohnungen, H ü tten oder Campingplätzen nach seinem wunsch untergebracht. Die Dienstleistung wird von den Landbewohnem mit der teilnahme des Landarbeiters durchgeführt.
Bei ihrem Aufenthalt haben die gäste die gelegenheit, einige tage im kontakt mit der Natur zu genieben sowie die biologische verschiedenheit jedes landesgebiets zu bewundem. Sie können auch an allen Tätigkeiten, welche an der farm durchgef ü hr werden, teilnehmen. Gleichfalls werden sie im kontakt mit unseren gewohnheiten und traditionen und auberdem an einer ländlichen gastronomie, wie z.B., Rainderbraten, hangemachte Desserts und käsen u.a Genub finden. Es wir hinzugef ü gt, dab alle produckte ( Fleisch, gemuse und Milchproduckte) in der farm hergestelltwerden.
Die von dem APATUR zur verf ü gung gestellten verschiedenen tatigkeiten sind weiter unten aufgef ü hrt.
Sport fischerei, schwimmen, fahrten auf fl ü ssen und Bächen, fahrten auf sulky handball, fubfall, tennis, “trekking” u.a.
Landarbeiten-Beobachtung ländlicher Arbeiten, wie z.B. Melken von k ü hen und B ü ffeln, Rodeos, Brandmarken, impfung, Schafsplitter u.a. wäbrend verschiedener jahreszeiten.
Beobachiung der Natur-Gef ü hrte fahrten durch wegen, die sich in privatwaldgebieten befinden, beobachtung von Gefl ü geln, Fauna und Flora in jedem Gebiet sowie Besichtigung einheimischer Niederlassungen.
